The UnionStahl Heavy Plate Service Center became operative during March 2002. The company is specialized on stocking and machining heavy plate material. To master this challenge, right from the beginning a team of experienced and customer-minded heavy plate specialists was able to rely upon a unique stock program and most modern machining facilities. Thus the most complicated customer requests are executed in the shortest possible time. Economical independence paired with a customer oriented organisational structure guarantee an individual and market specific approach. Besides supplying from extensive stock facilities UnionStahl also can offer material to customer specification from new production of top European mills.

UnionStahl is stocking most of the below steel grades in thickness 2 - 300 mm, in widths up to 4.000 mm and lengths up to 16.000 mm:
